Our wonderful new office couple arrived April 25, 2015.  We are so grateful for all that they do!  During our mission we have been fortunate enough to work with four amazing couples in the office.

These six great new missionaries arrived June 9, 2015. This group is significant, because it is the smallest group to arrive in over a year, and is the 27th and final group we have welcomed while we have been serving.
Here they are with their fabulous trainers.

Special Sealings

Attending the sealing of this wonderful recently converted couple was a true highlight.
Recently we were able to attend the sealing of this beloved returned missionary sister! A bonus was seeing other returned missionaries there too!
Some returning missionaries  having some fun with the President.
This custom leather scripture cover is quite impressive,
(as is the missionary it belongs to)!
These wonderful sisters in Matsudo went the extra mile for our last zone conference!
We were amazed at how artistic they were with the face cookies!

Japan Reunion

This was our first reunion! We were so happy that so many of our returned missionaries in Japan were able to attend, so that we could see them before we leave Japan in July.

 Iris garden at Meiji Shrine.
Believe it or not, this idyllic little spot is in the middle of Tokyo!
This was a fun encounter with some of our missionaries in Arisugawa Park, across the street from the Tokyo temple.  Look closely and you can see the Angel Moroni statue above the trees.

After an early medical release, we were thrilled to see this fine elder come back with his family five months later, looking hale and hearty!

A late-blooming variety of cherry tree.
These beautiful trees line the street by the church.
Some 150 koinobori strung across Lake Akaya in Gunma ken - a truly spectacular sight!

The last block of the quilt was signed this transfer, so we are now using the edges.
It is exciting to have it completely filled. In case you're wondering, there are 579 blocks!
