These 26 great missionaries left a huge whole in the mission 

and in our hearts when they left on June 12, 2015.

After an early medical release, we were thrilled to see this fine elder come back with his family five months later, looking hale and hearty!

We said good-bye to these beloved missionaries on May 1, 2015.

These dear friends returned home on May 2, 2015
They served tirelessly as our office couple for 18 months, with love and enthusiasm, and are greatly missed.

These 5 elders and 13 sisters returned on March 20, 2015. 

It is always so hard to say good-bye to our beloved missionaries!

These 14 fine missionaries returned home on February 6, 2015.  

These fine missionaries returned November 7, 2014.  This elder arrived alone 2 years ago, but returned with 8 sisters!

These 28 returned on December 19, 2014.  This is the largest group we have had return. The wave is receding now, sadly.

This devoted dozen left us on July 11, 2014.

This was their farewell dinner at the mission home - sukiyaki!

We are now at the point where we are sending home elders that arrived after we did, 

so some of these missionaries have been with us for two years.

It was hard to say good-bye to this group of fine missionaries!

We reluctantly had to say good-bye to this wonderful couple, who served quietly and faithfully for the last year and a half in Koshigaya.  We don't have any more proselyting senior couples left in our mission now, and would love to have many more couples like them!

This was an international group of returning missionaries -  

they represented Brazil, the USA, New Zealand, Canada and Japan.

We miss them!

We lost only one sister in January 2014, but it was a huge loss! 

 In March 2014 we bid farewell to seven fine elders.

Three weeks later, we lost two more amazing Japanese missionaries.  

They finished their missions as Assistants, 

and for a short period we were fortunate to have four concurrent Assistants!

We only had one returning missionary this transfer. 

We were sad to see him go, but his mom was very happy to come and get him!

We love our Senior Couples!  We are so grateful for their examples and their service, and wish them the best as they continue to serve at home as member missionaries.  We miss them!

May 2013.  It is always so hard to say good-bye to the returning missionaries - they become like sons and daughters to us.

14 missionaries returned home in March 2013 after serving faithfully for 2 or 1.5 years! They've been of tremendous service to the people of Japan in the Lord's cause!
