The Meaning Behind the Logo

The inspiration for the logo comes from D&C 128:22. The red figure 8 symbolizes our hearts being knit together in unity and love (Mosiah 18:21). It also stands for eternal life to remind us that baptism is the focal point but not the end point. It also reminds us of the 8 Christ-like attributes we strive to attain as a mission.

Theme Scripture

"Brethren, shall we not go on in so great a cause? Go forward and not backward. Courage, brethren; and on, on to the victory! Let your hearts rejoice, and be exceedingly glad. "

-Doctrine & Covenants 128:22

The Mission Quilt

Sister Budge made this quilt as a labor of love. All the missionaries sign the quilt as a symbol of being united in this great cause.
